40-Hour Crisis Line Volunteer Advocacy Training Program
June 20, 2014 is scheduled to be the first day of our training, and will run through four weekly training sessions, followed by final session to be determined.
Our 40-Hour Crisis Line Volunteer Advocacy Training Program is a great opportunity to learn the essentials of advocacy. We are looking for volunteers who are willing to commit to the following:
· Attend weekly training · Handle the Crisis Line after hours & on weekends. · Attend monthly informational meetings · Act as an advocate for Pearl
This 40-Hour Advocacy Training program is available to anyone age 18 and older who wishes to develop critical skills, enhance their knowledge on a broad range of subjects, and support the members of their home communities.
